    Tulsa, OK - The 2023 Tulsa Beach Rugby tournament, held at the picturesque Pearl Beach Brew Pub, witnessed an exhilarating display of athleticism and competition as 17 formidable teams from across the region battled it out for glory. With two men's pools consisting of six teams each, engaging in intense round-robin matches, and a highly competitive women's division, the day-long event showcased the very best of beach rugby.

    In Pool A, the defending champions, Tulsa Titans, faced tough competition from the Rubber Duckies, Springfield Mudpuppies, DARC Knights, OKC Crusaders, and the New Mexico Brujos. Meanwhile, Pool B witnessed fierce clashes between Tulsa RFC, Raging Cocks, Oklahoma Buffaloes, Walruses, Drury University Panthers, and the Fort Worth Outlaws.

    As the tournament unfolded, it became evident that every team had come prepared to give their all on the sandy battlefield. The matches were a testament to the dedication, skill, and passion of the players who left it all on the sand in their pursuit of victory.

    In the Men's Championship, the stage was set for a thrilling showdown between the top teams from each pool. The Raging Cocks, from Arkansas State University, emerged as the team to challenge the two-time reigning champions, Tulsa Titans. Their impressive performance throughout the tournament had marked them as serious contenders for the title. In an epic clash of strength, strategy, and determination, the Raging Cocks managed to overcome the mighty Titans, claiming the Men's Championship and etching their names into the tournament's history.

    On the Women's side, a five-team round-robin format added a captivating dynamic to the competition. Tulsa RFC, OKC Crusaders, Wichita Valkyries, Dallas Reds, and Pittsburgh State 'Rilla Rugby showcased their immense talent and unwavering spirit in pursuit of the coveted championship title. After a series of intense matches, the OKC Crusaders and the Wichita Valkyries emerged as the top two teams, setting the stage for a thrilling Grand Final.

    In a captivating display of skill and teamwork, the OKC Crusaders triumphed for the third consecutive year, reinforcing their dominance in the Women's division. The team's remarkable achievement further solidified their status as one of the region's powerhouses in women's beach rugby.

    The atmosphere at Pearl Beach was electric throughout the event, with passionate fans, friends, and family members rallying behind their respective teams. The tournament not only celebrated the sport of rugby but also showcased the spirit of unity and sportsmanship that rugby embodies.
