Tulsa Captures Zeekers Crown

Tulsa RFC went undefeated at this years Zeekers Midnight 7's tournament hosted by OSU. After cruising through 4 pool play matches Tulsa was matched against OKC in the semis. The Crusaders put up a valiant effort but Tulsa had too much speed to burn and won going away. The final pitted Tulsa against crosstown rivals and teammates the South Side Assassins. SSA came into the final with an unblemished record of their own and had won most of their games handily. Tulsa put the pressure on SSA from the opening kickoff and never let up. SSA were able to score one try for their efforts but it wouldn't be nearly enough.
Thanks to Lemeki Batisarisare, Jared "Shaggy" Crosswy, and Mark Cuenca for finishing most of our tries and to all the rest for doing their part.
Tulsa has made it to the finals of every Oklahoma tournament this summer. Winning 2 out 3 so far. Congratulations men!
